Reader’s Reviews:
I suggest using this book only after you've played at least 10 games in the specific structure you want to study and have thoroughly analysed and annotated them yourself. This book is most effective for players rated 2000+ USCF (I expect to gain even more from it once I’ve built up more experience). However, players below that level can still benefit from it - B Goodman
This is one of the best and most instructive chess books I've come across, and I've read many. Before picking it up, I wasn't familiar with Mauricio Flores Rios, a Grandmaster from Chile. However, after just a few chapters, it’s evident he’s a highly skilled player who blends strong positional understanding with the tactical sharpness needed to win games. (Chess is 99% tactics and 1% strategy) - H Redmile
