The hardback chess board folds open and close to store away neatly and never gets wrinkled. The boards are strong, durable and the clear and legible algebraic notation ensures they meet all chess tournament standards. Board size: 51cm X 51cm board with 5.7cm squares.

87mm Plastic pieces
These standard tournament pieces are ideal for schools and tournaments as it is made of a softer plastic that's virtually unbreakable. Available in classic black and white colours. King height 87mm and King base 37mm. No extra queens.
95mm Black & ivory standard pieces
If you are looking for standard pieces with a little more detail than ordinary plastic pieces - this is a great choice. The pieces have a nice look and feel, are durable and fitted with a green felt base. Each set comes with a complete set of chess pieces - 16 light ivory pieces, 16 black pieces and 2 extra queens. King height 95mm and King base 37mm. Weight of full set: 412g.

If you are looking for standard pieces with a little more detail than ordinary plastic pieces - this is a great choice. The weighted pieces have a nice look and a great feel, are durable and fitted with green felt bases. Each set comes with extra queens for black and ivory.
