EXECUTIVE | Walnut & Maple with notation board (large)
The Staunton set first became popular in 1851 when English chess master, Howard Staunton, promoted a similar set at the first international chess tournament.
The Executive design has a rather larger Staunton look and the hand-carved knights have a beautifully carved mane, detailed teeth, and swept-back pointed ears. Handcrafted in India by expert craftsmen, this set delivers exceptional detail at an affordable price. The pieces are made from Acacia and Boxwood and fitted with green felt bases. Two additional queens, one in each colour, are included in the set.

The veneer Walnut and Maple chess board with notation is crafted and imported from Rechapados Ferrer, Spain - worldwide known for best quality chess boards. These boards come packed in a Polyurethane bag.
