The St. Petersburg chess set was created to commemorate the elite St. Petersburg tournament and is one of the most celebrated turn-of-the-century designs. Each piece has been hand-crafted, weighted, and polished by master craftsmen, making the design, quality, and craftsmanship to a superior standard. The pieces, made of darker Anjan and lighter Box wood, are designed to withstand the rigours of practical play, and maintain its elegance for years to come. The base of each piece is fitted with green felt.

This stunning chess board is made from a combination of Wenge and Maple veneers. Crafted and imported from Rechapados Ferrer, Spain – known worldwide for the best quality chess boards. Each board is beautifully handcrafted and features a dark, straight grain with a rustic appearance, and is finished off with a satin matt finish. These boards are individually packed in a plastic bag and the “Rechapados Ferrer” cardboard box.

If we receive your payment before 11:30am, the order will be shipped on the same day. Deliveries to Pretoria and Johannesburg are most likely delivered the next business day.
