About the Author:

Judit Polgar, born on July 23, 1976, in Budapest, Hungary, is a Hungarian chess Grandmaster and widely regarded as the strongest female chess player of all time. In 1991, Polgár achieved the title of Grandmaster at 15 years and 4 months, the youngest to have done so, breaking the record previously held by former world champion Bobby Fischer. She is the youngest of three chess-playing sisters, including notable players Susan and Sofia Polgar. Judit began her chess journey early, influenced by her parents’ educational research project aimed at proving that children could achieve exceptional success through intensive training.
