This set comprises a medium vinyl roll-up chess board, 87mm plastic tournament chess pieces, and a canvas zip or material drawstring bag to keep your pieces organised and secure.
We have developed our medium-sized vinyl chess boards with South African schools in mind, ensuring a perfect fit for most school desks. These boards are specifically designed to prevent the edges from curling over the desk's edge. Chess board size: 44cm x 44cm with 5cm squares.
Our own in-house design pieces are manufactured in South Africa. These standard tournament pieces are ideal for schools and tournaments and is crafted from a softer plastic material with a sleek, smooth finish. Available in classic black and white colours. King height 87mm and King base 37mm. Please note that these sets do not include any additional queens.

Orders are delivered by a courier or can be collected from House of Chess.
If we receive your payment before 11:30am, the order will be shipped on the same day. Deliveries to Pretoria and Johannesburg are most likely delivered the next business day. Generally, we deliver to all major towns within 2 to 3 business days, while deliveries to more remote areas can take up to 5 business days. Regardless of how remote your location is in Southern Africa, we proudly deliver to any destination.
