Reader’s Reviews:
This might be the most essential chess book you'll ever read. Truly! From cover to cover, it's remarkable in both its depth and range. The only downside is that the author’s writing style is quite old-fashioned and can sometimes be challenging to follow. However, this style can also be quite entertaining. Without a doubt, this is my absolute favourite chess book—no competition - S.White.
The only reason to buy a chess book is to learn to play better. This book helps you do that from page one. Remarkable - B.Whittaker.
This is a true classic that every chess player should read. The author was a true scholar of the game. If you haven't read this book, it’s difficult to claim you’re a serious chess student - L.H.
